A 16ft & 10ft Yurt and a 16ft & 18ft Tipi - plus our "Romantic Yurt" which is extra special with its own private garden complete with arbour seat, pergola with double hammock, cruck framed outdoor undercover area. The Yurt is luxuriously furnished with sheepskins, a hand crafted
double bed and a lovely little woodburning stove...and you get a hamper with local produce and some Camel Valley champayne!

Our site sleeps groups from 2 - 8 or bookings for the whole site, all Yurts & Tipis have their own undercover outdoor area. Open all year.

Based in lovely part of Cornwall, we offer our visitors a unique chance to experience a holiday in a tipi or a yurt. We have tried to make our site as eco-friendly as possible and we have 2 composting toilets and 2 bathrooms in a log cabin with roll top baths. Water comes from our own bore hole and is heated by a wood burning stove.

The yurts and tipis are all fully furnished with their own wood burning stoves, and all have their own little secluded areas surrounded by broadleaf woodland. We are surrounded by tranquil riverside walks through natural bluebell woods and a little stone bridge to sit on and watch for wildlife such as Otters and Kingfishers! Well behaved dogs are very welcome to come along and take advantage of the nearby walks!!

SITUATION We are half a mile walk down a footpath to Sladesbridge (where there is a pub and a large garden centre with a restaurant), 3 miles from Wadebridge, and 6 miles from the beaches at Rock and Polzeath. We are approximately half an hour drive from the famous Eden Project and about 20 minutes drive away from Padstow where you will find Rick Stein's Seafood restaurant.

THINGS TO DO We have fishing rights to the River Allen which is 100 yards from site of which you are welcome to take advantage. There is the Camel Trail close by or if you want somewhere a bit quieter there are 2 riverside walks within 100 yards of the site - with a pub on either end!!
Some of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall are within 6 miles, and Newquay is only 15 miles away.

ACCOMMODATION We have a 16ft & an 18ft Sioux design Tipis, a 10ft coppiced Yurt and a 16ft traditional Mongolian Yurt...and our special "Romantic Yurt" which is a 14ft steam bent Kyrgyz style Yurt. All are luxuriously furnished and all have wood burning stoves in them. Every dwelling has it's own outdoor undercover area with BBQ and firepit. There are 2 composting toilets and two bathrooms in a log cabin.

Bookings for all 5 are subject to availability.

Tipis available April - October
Yurts are available all year.
Our peak time is June, July, August, Christmas & New Year

PRICES

We are flexible with short breaks all year round - just contact us for availabilty and prices.

Deposit 20% for week bookings, 50% for short breaks - within seven days of booking
Balance 4 weeks before arrival
